BROADBAND INFRACO Broadband Infraco, is a long distance national and international optic fibre connectivity network infrastructure provider based in Radiokop, seeks to appoint a suitable candidate to the following employment opportunity: INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL JOB ADVERTISEMENT CHIEF MARKETING AND SALES OFFICER (5 Years Fixed Term Contract) Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be required to perform among others the following Key Performance Areas: Key Responsibilities: • Formulation of the marketing and sales strategy to effectively manage the achievement of revenue goals and build the company brand to create awareness and clout to position Broadband Infraco advantageously in the industry/sector. • Represent the company in the telecommunications market through building and maintenance of sound stakeholder relationships, strategic positioning, and good corporate image. • Effective customer relations management to maintain a solid client base for continuous demand for products and services. • Provide appropriate customer solutions and pricing. • Develop Product strategy to enable a diversified product portfolio. • Strategic leadership for the marketing and sales teams. • Drive exploration and direct business research and development efforts for sourcing, pursuing as well as implementing new business opportunities. • Commission primary and secondary research to inform the position of the company. • Develop and lead the branding strategy of the company locally and internationally. • Oversee the planning and the production of marketing material. • Manage inter-divisional functional processes to meet customer expectations timeously, deliver quality products and services and ensure compliance with service level agreements. • Maintain healthy relationships with critical industry bodies-regionally and locally • Liaise and build relationships with a range of stakeholders e.g., staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/ official bodies. • Commission primary and secondary research to inform the position of the company. Qualification, Skills, and Experience: The successful incumbent will be required to have the following qualifications, experience, and skill: • Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent plus relevant postgraduate Business Management qualification • At least 10 years’ experience in Marketing and Sales in a Telecommunications environment or related service industry, with a solid customer relations management background. • Ten years’ experience in Senior Management role, of which Five years at Executive level. • Five years’ experience in People Management. • Demonstrated excellence in the fields of Marketing Sales, Customer relationship management and product development. • Commercial experience in running a business unit. • Self-starter with experience and desire to acquire New Business Applications and a comprehensive CV to be e-mailed to careers@infraco.co.za Closing Date: 16 February 2024. Qualification, Skills, and Experience: The successful incumbent will be required to have the following qualifications, experience, and skills: • B. Comm in Human Resources or equivalent, Post Graduate qualification in Human Resources is an advantage. • Minimum ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions. • Five (5) years of experience on Senior Management level (of which 3 years must be at an Executive Level). • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organisational development, employee relations, training and preventative labour relations is preferred. • The ability to interpret relevant legislation and prescripts, with accountability to the DOL. • Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations. • Possess a diversified HR practice and experience with in-depth understanding of all aspects of work. • Demonstrate ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members. • Demonstrate ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction.
