BROADBAND INFRACO Broadband Infraco, is a long distance national and international optic fibre connectivity network infrastructure provider based in Radiokop, seeks to appoint a suitable candidate to the following employment opportunity: INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL JOB ADVERTISEMENT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT: SCM (PERMANENT) Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Manager: Performance and Planning, the incumbent will: Administrative Support Attend to enquiries from Business Units requesting to procure goods and services. Assist Supply Chain Management staff with general office duties upon request. Coordinate and schedule meeting appointments as requested. Take minutes during departmental meetings. Assist with distribution / preparation of documents / correspondence. Management of business stationary. Stationary inventory usage control. Purchasing and maintenance of stationary stock level. Capture and update inventory list on pastel. Produce the monthly usage report for Finance manager. Report to internal and external customers enquiries. Travel and accommodations bookings for procurement department. Procurement Support Procure business cards for Business Units Personnel. Correspond with vendors regarding their database registration and any other procurement enquiries. Create Purchase Requisitions for Supply Chain Department. Request for quotations. Issue of purchase Orders and get Procurement manager to approve. Closing of tenders. Issue tender numbers sequentially. Record the tender status on the departmental board. Record contract and alert contract manager about the expiry date. Maintain contracts documentation, track and follow documentation through the contracting processes to ensure completion. Verify delivered goods according to Purchase Order. Contact vendors for any variations on goods delivered. Database Management and record Keeping Scan, load record contract files to Shared drive. Keep records and database updated on a regular basis and ensure system compliance and procurement policy is adhered to. File service’ Tax clearance certificate, RFQ files and contracts files as per check list. Send reminders to service provider to update their Tax clearance. Archive unsuccessful bids and old contract files. File the RFQ files and contracts files as per check list. Maintenance of vendor records. Review requisitions for completeness and accuracy, follow up on discrepancies with the initiating department and identify available suppliers for each requisition item. Maintenance of Supplier Database. Coordinate the accreditation process of service providers. Maintain procedures of monitoring database performance. Qualification and Experience: • Diploma in Administrative Management. • Must have at least 2 – 3 years administrative experience preferably in finance department. Knowledge of procurement processes and database management. • Computer literacy, Microsoft office suite – Intermediate. Broadband Infraco, is a long distance national and international optic fibre connectivity network infrastructure provider based in Radiokop, seeks to appoint a suitable candidate to the following employment opportunity: INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL JOB ADVERTISEMENT GENERAL MANAGER: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (PERMANENT) Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent will: • Provide support to SCM managers in ensuring compliance to SCM policies, process, procedures and the Legislation across the organisation and by other stakeholders and ensure alignment of strategy to all relevant legislation i.e., PPPFA, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, companies Act etc. Qualification and Experience: • Relevant Commercial Degree in Supply Chain Management. • Honours degree or MBA would be an added advantage. • Minimum 8 years Senior Management experience in supply chain management, Minimum 5 years in the Public Sector. • Experience in the ICT environment or a major infrastructure company. • Detailed knowledge of legislation PPPFA, PFMA, BBBEE etc and CIPS accreditation will be an added advantage. • Analyse the 5-year Broadband Infraco Corporate Plan to determine the strategic direction for Supply Chain Management. • Develop the competitive enterprise and supplier development strategy that is aligned to Broadband Infraco’ s mandate and direct the implementation thereof. • Develop BBBEE policy in alignment with ICT Charter and direct the implementation and compliance across the organisation and to improve the overall company BBBEE score card. • Establish partnerships with large businesses to foster skills development of Black Women Owned, Black Youth Owned, People with Disabilities and Black Owned Entities. • Establish partnerships with academic institutions for business skills as part of supplier development, the Bid/Tender issuing and evaluation, the management of EXCOPS and Tender Committee reports. • Provide input to the Annual report to Shareholders. • Develop Monthly reports to EXCO.
