NOTIFICATION OF SUPPLIER INVITATION SCAM!!!
TO ALL EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE PRASA VENDORS:
PRASA, Its division and all its subsidiaries would like to alert its existing and prospective suppliers that it has come to our notice that some of our existing and prospective suppliers have received an invitation via email inviting them to the group’s data base.
We wish to inform all our existing and prospective suppliers that the entire PRASA group have not invited suppliers to the data base. The Group is therefore distancing the entire business from such deceiving communication. Effective from 1st May 2016, the National Treasury SCM instruction Note No: 4 of 2016/2017 became mandatory. All government Departments and Organs of State entities including PRASA, all its subsidiaries and its divisions may only award business to Suppliers that are registered as prospective suppliers with National Treasury Central Supplier Database [CSD].
Therefore all Existing PRASA suppliers and all entities that are interested to do business with PRASA are now required to self-register on CENTRAL SUPPLIER DATABASE (CSD)
Your successful registration will be confirmed upon receipt of National Treasury upcoming Supplier MAAA reference number.
