MANAGER: LEGAL SERVICES AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS (P5)
HEAD OFFICE
(5 YEAR CONTRACT)
TOTAL PACKAGE: R818 700 PA
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Admitted Attorney with B. Proc or LLB
• The ideal candidate will be an industrial/Labour Relations practitioner with at least 5 years practical experience in dealing with labour related matters in Industrial Relations conversant with relevant legislation i.e. LRA
• Experience in handling Litigation matters and Labour court matters
• Have a strong employee relations focus.
• Excellent negotiator.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
• Compiling Legal Contract Register
• Compiling Legal Framework
• Interpreting legal documents such as summons; lease and letter of demands etc.
• Appointment and termination of lawyers' mandate.
• Drafting, amending and reviewing of Legal Contracts.
• Advise management on aspects of IR Strategy.
• Develop and implement IR Strategy.
• Research on wage negotiation trends
• Negotiations with organized labour and maintenance of harmonious relations between the company and its labour representatives.
• Representation of the company at Bargaining Council level and the CCMA/Labour Court.
SENIOR MANAGER ACCOUNTING SERVICES (P5)
HEAD OFFICE
(5 YEAR CONTRACT)
TOTAL PACKAGE: R818 700 PA
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting or Advanced Diploma at NQF Level 7.
• Completed articles either with SAIPA or SAICA preferred;
EXPERIENCE
• Financial management in the transport environment, preferable passenger transport. Minimum experience of five years, three years at management level.
• Knowledge of the PFMA and the Treasury Regulations
• Financial analysis and systems skills (; Pastel Evolution or similar ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, General Ledger), and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Consolidate and produce and distribute monthly management and quarterly reports;
• Consolidate and produce detailed quarterly cash flow forecasts and manage working capital;
• Monitoring of budget against actual expenditure;
• Prepare consolidated annual financial statements for EXCO and the Board of Directors;
• Monitor and manage daily revenue collection and report on Inefficiencies;
• Ensure compliance of procurement of goods and services in accordance with procurement policies
• Manage the payroll and all statutory payments;
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, PFMA, Companies Act; SARS and finance policies;
• Manage the insurance of company assets;
• Ensure appropriate external audit arrangements are in place and manage the audit process;
• Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are produced on an accurate and timely basis to include bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, fixed assets and inter-company accounts
• Perform employee assessments; facilitate mentodng and coaching of subordinates
• Facilitate appropriate training programmes for subordinates.
