ESTATE AGENCY AFFAIRS BOARD (EAAB) The following positions are available at the EAAB Head Office: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER 5-YEAR FIXED TERM PERFORMANCE-BASED CONTRACT
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Provide strategic support to the CEO and Executive team • Development of operational strategy and business plans annually in accordance with the organisational planning cycle •Organisational budget development and management • Optimisation of business performance • Financial management and sustainability of the EAAB • Accurate Mandel reporting in line with statutory and legislative requirements • Operational riskmanagement and implementation of financial controls • Ensure an effective procurement function. Please submit your application to the HR Department: email: cloapplications@eaab.org.za FIDELITY FUND CERTIFICATE RENEWAL MANAGER OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: • Provide effective, efficient and accurate renewal of general Fidelity Fund Certificates (FFC). REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum recognised diploma/degree In Finance/Business Administration •Minimum of 2 years experience, ideally within the Public Sector •Knowledge of legislation impacting the EAAB • Results orientated and quality focused -Good Interpersonal, communication and organising skills •MS Office packages •Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Analyse all EAAB regulations and ensure compliance to all development control •Manage and evaluate all regulations and legislations for FFC renewal activities and ensure appropriate implementation and prepare strategies for the Business Unit • Ensure immediate management of non-compliant applications • Maintain knowledge on all compliance trends • Prepare reports for all FFC renewals and manage all communications with Estate Agents and perform audit on market conduct examinations • Manage stakeholder interactions. HR OFFICERS (2 POSITIONS) OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: •Provide and implement HR policies and procedures, generate reports, audit compliance, implement best practices and ensure KPIs are met. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum recognised diploma/degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent -Minimum of 2 years experience, ideally within the Public Sector • Knowledge of legislation impacting the EAAB -Results orientated and quality focused •Good Interpersonal, communication and organising skills •MS Office packages • Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Secure and update all the HR departmental records and database in line with the Human Resources procedure •Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Human Resource Office •Follow-up on performance review ratings •Prepare offer letters, recognition letters and appointment notices for internal promotions and transfers • Participate in ad-hoc HR projects as assigned •Maintain the recruitment database, including applicantresponse and any data input • Ensure that all recruits have full reference checks and following up, if necessary. SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICERS (2 POSITIONS) OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: • Provide procurement support services in developing and implementing policies, procedures and systems and monitoring adherence to these in order to ensure that the EAAB complies with the PFMA and Government Procurement requirements as well as organisational policy, procedure and legislative requirements and standards • Effectively manage the facilities management services within the EAAB. REQUIREMENTS: •Minimum diploma in Purchasing Management/SCM qualification • Minimum of 2 years procurement and office support experience •Extensive knowledge of Procurement principles and practices as well as Government procurement requirements • Knowledge and understanding of legislation applicable to the EAAB • Working knowledge of the Industry and business environment • Understanding and knowledge of B-BBEE • Financial acumen •Planning, controlling and communication skills • Quality focus, result and stakeholder orientation • Good leadership, networking and influencing skills •Resilience, emotional intelligence, values and integrity.
