Main Objectives Responsible for the effective management of student life, support, and development ensuring that the Division provides meaningful support and interventions to enhance the students experience and holistic well-being at Rhodes University. Supports the Director in developing students’ leadership potential and ensuring that there is an effective and functioning student governance. Supports the Director in managing the day-to-day operational activities of the Division of Student Services and Development (DSSD) and manages the Residence and Oppidan system, ensures that residences are suitable for living and learning. The incumbent is further responsible for policy development and compliance, training, and development as well as planning and compilation of reports. Supports students with disabilities and oversees effective communication with students and other stakeholders.
