Requirements: • Relevant bachelor's degree preferably related to Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science or other applied Sciences with at least 5+ years’ experience as a process analyst • Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows and processes • Demonstrated business acumen in terms of delivering end-to-end IT solutions that provide business benefits, with successful change management • Applied systems development life-cycle methodologies and techniques Key Responsibilities: • Ensure alignment of business processes • Direct and support the Business Analyst teams, with regards to all aspects of process modelling and documentation • Establish governance and standards with regards to Process Modelling/ Business Analysis methodology to be implemented • Identify existing business processes which require integration with new processes. This will involve engaging with various business areas and other analysts • Contribute to the process Solution, SLAs and Procedure Manuals • Define Process Time Standards and Capacity Models (where necessary) • Perform periodic audits of all documented processes to ensure adherence to defined process standards and other governance procedures • Review documented processes with the view to identifying enhancement opportunities and find opportunities for cost-saving and streamlining • Manage changes to process requirements through the agreed change control process • Contribute to the business solution based on the requirements in conjunction with Business stakeholders; (the lead BA thus has the responsibility to consult all impacted stakeholders to ensure a viable business solution) • Manage Use Case and Requirements Traceability for the Programme • Formulate or Adhere to Configuration Management requirements (document naming standards, version control and project library management) • Check the quality of own deliverables at all stages of the project’s work phases • Manage own time and work deliverables in line with agreed estimates • Advise the Release Manager of any deviations from agreed estimates, and agree corrective action • Escalate requirements-related issues, risks and priority conflicts • Apply documentation and modelling standards and guidelines defined for the project • Follow the project’s agreed internal processes and methodologies • Support and collaborate with the project’s Technical Design, Testing and Development teams as and when required through the lifecycle of the project • Review and give input to process test plans and test case documents • Review and give input to the investigation of process testing issues during the UAT and Pilot Phases • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Business Solution Development Methodology; • Sourcing “as-is” process documentation required for analysis • With direction from the Release Manager, facilitate business/technical stakeholder discussions relating to the end-to-end process Competencies and skills: • Analytical thinking • Team player with solid time management, • Good communication skills (written and oral) • Good interpersonal and organisational skills • Problem-solving skills • Client-centric Closing Date: 1 November 2023 The PIC assets under management are nearly R2.6 trillion across listed and unlisted investments. Delivery of projects according to project objectives within time and budget estimates according to quality standards and within acceptable levels of risk to the organisation. • Project Process: Provide the necessary strategic thinking, technical know-how and leadership to establish and implement leading-edge quality programmes such as CMMI and to drive the implementation of these leading-edge programmes into the organisation. • Facilitation and Change Management: Facilitate change management strategy and the interventions required to achieve significant culture and business change within the organisation.
