DUTIES -Administration of Panel of Debt Collectors: - Responsible for monthly PMSs for the Panel of Debt Collectors. - Provide the monthly statistics of the Panel of Debt Collectors. - The sale in execution matters/accounts: - Provide information to Attorneys and Bank Institutions on arrear accounts. - Follow up on historical debt on clearance matters. - Credit control mechanisms: - Responsible for disconnection and reconnection of municipal services for default debtors. - Monitoring of payments for reconnection purpose. - Follow ups on the disconnected properties for payment and monitoring of possible bypass. - Provide supervisory duties on: -Issuing of Final Reminders and Notices. - The cut off list of services. - Legal fees by Panel of Debt Collectors and Interest - Administrative duties: - Provide collection rate report. - Provide debt collection report. - Provide disconnection/recon report. - Keep record on meters tampered with. - Perform any other related ad hoc tasks and duties as and when requested by management from time to time. SALARY: R 350 256.00 p.a.–R 386 880.00 p.a. DUTIES - Installs and maintains all water and sewer pumps, panels, and motors within the jurisdiction area of the council supplied localities: - By checking, fault finding and root cause analysis and preventative maintenance of equipment. - Cleaning, repairing parts of panels, pumps and motors as well as structure of pump stations and related work areas to ensure good maintenance and operation of the abovementioned structures. - Responsible for the general maintenance on municipal pumps and water services infrastructure to ensure safe and precise supply of water services to consumers/rates payers/general public. - Supervision and control over the assisting team’s daily productivity of the section related matters: - By delegation of work and assistance during maintenance of pumps and panels to ensure constant availability of water related services to consumers/ratepayers/general public. - Maintain discipline within assisting teams. – Manage and measure daily activities and performance of assisting teams to ensure maximum productivity and high-quality standard of work (ensuring the minimization of downtime and optimal functioning of the section). - Responsible for safety of co-workers, vehicles, and equipment by: - Immediately Reporting any losses or injuries to the superintendent immediately for safety efficiency precautions as stipulated by the safety acts. - Adhere to health and safety environment, quality and housekeeping standards. - To ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
