-Communicate specialist research findings to the public through publications, exhibitions, popular articles, website and public programmes -Engage with stakeholders -Participate in planning, implementation, budgeting and fundraising processes and submit relevant reports -Liaise with the Education and Advancement departments about the generation of content for marketing, audience development, education and public programmes -Contribute to risk management and alert Director Research and Exhibitions of any areas of potential risk that require mitigation -Mentor interns and volunteers.
Competencies Required: Ability to plan, manage and implement projects -Knowledge of financial management and fundraising -Ability to liaise and network with stakeholders -Ability to work in a team. BASIC SALARY AND BENEFITS The salaries quoted above do not include benefits. Iziko benefits comprise generous contributions towards a designated retirement fund (compulsory), a designated medical aid (voluntary) and a housing subsidy (voluntary). Other employment conditions such as working hours and leave entitlement are also generous.
