Department of Drama & Production Studies LECTURER Ref: D318 Minimum Requirements: Lecturer • A completed Masters’ degree in Performing Arts or an appropriate associated field. • A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at tertiary level or 3 years’ experience in a relevant professional field. Additional Requirements • Applicants must have teaching experience in the field of theatre or a proven record of training industry specialists, and familiarity with the tertiary educational environment. • Applicants must be computer literate, possess demonstrable skills in areas of musical theatre, vocal technique, and singing and must be equipped to lecture both theory and practical in the field of Performing Arts within the Department • Expertise in the following areas: • Musical theatre, • Vocal/singing technique, • Vocal coaching • Voice for the actor.
