Purpose of the Job: To manage the group wide remuneration programs and to deliver specialist remuneration support across the business.* To liaise with and assist divisions in providing effective remuneration solutions which support achievement of business objectives.* To ensure that jobs and salaries within the company have equitable relationships to one another based on comparability of duties, complexity and scope of responsibilities, and they are classified to appropriately reflect those relationships. Key Responsibilities: Implementation of remuneration policy and strategy. *Conducting salary surveys and benchmarks. *Employee Cost Planning and Workforce Plan budgeting.* Communication, training and development initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Finance. *Professional Registration with South African Rewards Association (SARA) as Reward Specialist. * Global Remuneration Professional GRP Certification and/or South African Rewards Association (SARA) accreditation. * 3-5 years experience in remuneration and compensation execution. Minimum Experience: Ability to understand financial and economic concepts and to identify, create and exploit opportunities (practical application); *Key skills to enable effective and efficient administrative processes (sound application). The ability to analyse data, interpret and evaluate results, and create reports or presentations on gathered data (practical application); *Ability to adapt swiftly to changing situations, to manage the change process and to drive the changes required to achieve the organisation's vision and remain sustainable. The ability to embrace uncertainty and adapt swiftly to changing situations; Ability to systematically analyse information, to understand key business and commercial issues and to develop long term plans to achieve organisational success, *Ability to establish plans, to coordinate and manage resources and to mobilise the actions of others by removing banters and making clear and timeous decisions. Purpose of the Job: Co-ordinate and, where required, manage Umgeni Water's communications to achieve Umgeni Water's strategic objectives and outcomes relating to customer, staff and stakeholder understanding and support. *Recording and reporting on water resources and environmental developments that could impact on Umgeni Water's reputation and mandate/licence to operator. *Recording and reporting on deliberations at and outcomes of stakeholder engagement activities. *Monitoring of Umgeni Water's expanding operating environment to identify risks and opportunities and to identify potential and new stakeholders. *Formation of amicable relationships with new stakeholders, including community-based and marginalised groups and their leaderships. *Creating effective and practical platforms and opportunities for exposure to Umgeni Water's products and services in order to achieve Umgeni Water's strategic growth objectives contained in its revised Strategy and Vision 2050. Identifying and planning events towards achieving customer and stakeholder understanding and support. *Developing strategic relationships with traditional authorities in order for the Chief Executive and Executives and Senior Managers to engage effectively on servitude encroachments, associated matters and proposed new housing and business developments on land controlled and managed by traditional authorities. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to customer and stakeholder management strategy and operational plans. Contribute to management of public, *customer and stakeholder relations. *Contribute to reputation management and reputation enhancement interventions, projects, platforms and strategies. *Arrange and manage all logistics for media engagements. *Contribute to Umgeni Water's strategies to increase products offerings to existing customers and to expand customer base by identifying needs and products requirements of potential new customer. Perform general management and administration activities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. *5 years' experience in a senior Corporate Stakeholder/Communications and Journalism role. *Extensive and well-rounded experience in Customer and Stakeholder liaison, engagement and management. *Experience in identifying new Stakeholders and experience in identifying diverse/marginalised groups that have the potential to emerge as Stakeholders.*Exposure to, and understanding of, the end-to-end publishing environment. Minimum Experience: Excellent writing skills, including high-level experience in writing for corporate publications, social media platforms and web sites; verbal communication and interpretation of survey outcomes and ability to summarize them into written reports. * End-user computing skills in MS Office and/ or other design and publishing software. *Applied knowledge of the legislative, political, economic and social environments within which South African water sector entities conduct their business. *Ability to design and project-manage external stakeholder events, communications and initiatives that promote the organisation's relations with stakeholders and clients. *Knowledge of publication production processes applicable to print, electronic and digital media. *Expertise in dealing with the media in representing the interests of the organization.
