4. Oversee TETA Office Administration Support Services 4.1 Oversee the reception services management; 4.2. Oversee management of the driver and messenger services; 4.3. Oversee the management of housekeeping services. 5. Oversee TETA Marketing and Communications 5.1. Assist with and monitor TETA marketing and communications strategy development, approval and implementation; 5.2. Assist with and monitor TETA marketing and communications policy and procedures development, implementation and compliance; 5.3. Monitor and check on TETA branding and corporate identity management; 5.4. Assist with and monitor TETA roadshows and exhibitions management; 5.5. Monitor and check on TETA communications. 6. Oversee TETA HR Management 6.1. Oversee the TETA HR strategy development and implementation; 6.2. Monitor and ensure HR management systems, performance and improvements; 6.3. Monitor and ensure HR risk area identification and corrective measures implementation; 6.4. Monitor and ensure HR management policy updating and compliance; 6.5. Provide advice and support in complying with HR policies and processes. 7. Oversee TETA Structure and HR Capacity Management 7.1. Monitor, evaluate and address organisational structure and capacity needs; 7.2. Monitor and ensure post establishment, approval and job information development; 7.3. Monitor and check on recruitment and selection methods and practices; 7.4. Monitor and ensure employment contracts signing and safekeeping, and employee personal file management; 7.5. Monitor and check on employee induction programmes and resources provision. 8. Oversee TETA Leave and Payroll Management 8.1. Monitor and update TETA remuneration and rewards policy and processes; 8.2. Provide salary package information advices; 8.3. Liaise with employee benefits providers; 8.4. Monitor and address employee benefit issues and concerns; 8.5. Monitor and check on payroll information capturing and submissions. 9. Oversee TETA HR Performance Management 9.1. Monitor and ensure TETA performance management competence; 9.2. Monitor and check employee performance agreement signing and management; 9.3. Monitor and check on performance assessment and reviews scheduling, conducting and reporting; 9.4. Monitor and ensure talent identification and succession planning management. 10. Oversee TETA Employee Relations 10.1. Manage performance management disputes resolution; 10.2. Manage HR grievances and disciplinary hearings; 10.3. Represent TETA at the CCMA. 11. Oversee TETA HR Competence and Capability 11.1. Manage TETA HR skills development strategy and plan; 11.2. Monitor and check on personal development plans approval, consolidation and planning; 11.3. Monitor and check on TETA skills development providers and programmes database; 11.4. Oversee employee development programmes and plans implementation. 12. Manage Corporate Services Reporting 12.1. Assess, evaluate and report on TETA marketing and communications management; 12.2. Assess, evaluate and report on TETA human resources and administration management; 12.3. Prepare and present consolidated Corporate Services reports; 12.4. Prepare and submit Corporate Services annual report inputs. 13. Manage Personal and Staff Performance in Corporate Services Unit 13.1. Manage/monitor and check on performance agreements development and signature; 13.2. Manage/monitor and check on performance assessments and reviews implementation; 13.3. Manage/monitor and check on personal development plans submission, approval and implementation; 13.4. Monitor and check on employee capacity needs. 14. Management Responsibility 14.1. Manage staff time attendance and leave according to policy; 14.2. Ensure staff job profiles are updated and signed annually; 14.3. Communicate with department staff and following up department goals; 14.4. Ensure no repeat findings in the AG management report and implement corrective actions on existing findings; 14.5. Ensure no repeat findings in the internal audit report and implement corrective actions on existing finding.
2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 2.1 Experience and Qualification Minimum Post-graduate qualification at NQF level 8. Master’s degree will be an added advantage; Minimum 8 years of experience in Corporate Services environment, 3 years of which should be at management level; Experience in human resources management, marketing and communications; Experience in the public service and /or skills development sector; Be prepared to travel and work overtime. 2.2 Knowledge and Skills 2.2.1 Knowledge and understanding of: Business administration; CCMA and labour court processes; Corporate governance; Information and reporting management; Human resource management; Marketing and communications; Policy development and management; Relationship management; Strategic planning and budget management; The following legislations: Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Skills Development Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Levies Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, National regulations knowledge and SARS regulations. 2.2.2 Skills Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills; Consultation and negotiation skills; Leadership and people management skills; Planning, monitoring and reporting writing skills; Presentation and communication skill; Project management skills; Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Power Point.
