Position Outputs • Supervised shunting team and managed sub-ordinates as per company policies and procedures. • Execute marshalling activities as per described set of rules (Depart trains) • Performed administrative duties relating to operations and personnel. • Controlled and supervised shunting activities and other operational work during abnormal train working. • Establish a safe working environment maintained in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations. • Report on yard operations information Qualifications and Experience • Matric. • Minimum 2 years experience in the operational environment as a yard official. • Functional yard management. • Be in possession of Code B driving licence and be in position to driving such a vehicle. OTHER: • Be physically and mentally fit • Mental requirements - Psychologically fit.
