SPECIAL INVESTIGATING UNIT The SIU is an independent statutory body established by proclamation R. 118 of July 2001, issued in terms of the special investigating units and special tribunals Act no. 74 of 1996 as amended (“the SIU act”). The purpose of the SIU is to investigate serious malpractices, Maladministration and corruption in connection with the administration of state institutions, state assets and public money as well as any conduct, which may seriously harm the interest of the public. Furthermore, the purpose of the SIU is to institute and conduct civil proceedings in any court of law or a special tribunal in its own name or on behalf of state institutions. HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE MEMBERS X3 (REF NO SIU19/05/001) HEAD OFFICE: PRETORIA The SIU hereby invites qualified and experienced candidates to apply for three (3) vacant positions to serve in the SIU Human Resources Committee for a 3 years term contract. The following are the minimum requirements: • A post graduate degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent; • At least 8 years senior/executive management experience in Human Resources Management; Remuneration; Transformation; Learning and Development; and/or Employee Relations; and • Experience in serving in governance committees will be an advantage. The remuneration will be paid according to the approved rates from National Treasury Regulations and or AG rates. The position is part time and there will be approximately 4 meetings per year.
