The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is looking for a highly motivated individual to contribute to divisional strategic objectives through leading and managing a section of the zoo which consists of a specific group of animal taxa according to best husbandry and welfare practices.
The position requires a degree in Zoology, Nature Conservation, Game Ranch Management, Animal Health, or equivalent qualification with NQF 7. Honours or equivalent degree at NQF 8 will be an added advantage. The successful candidate must have 6 years’ experience in relevant field, 3 years of which should be at supervisory position(s).
Key performance responsibilities include:
