SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ACCREDITATION SYSTEM (SANAS) The South African National Accreditation Systems (SANAS), based in Pretoria East, is listed as a Schedule 3A public entity according to the National Public Entities classification. SANAS is mandated to be the sole provider of national accreditation services, whereby it formally recognises the technical competency of calibration and conformity assessment service providers that offer testing, inspection, verification and calibration services as well as inspection against OECD GLP principles in both the public and private domains. CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) SALARY: Market related CTC package SANAS seeks to employ an experienced CEO for a fixed term contract of 5 years to be responsible for the strategic leadership to position SANAS as a centre of excellence in Accreditation Systems. The CEO will be required to protect and anchor the mandate of SANAS through distinctive stakeholder relations including working with Board of Directors. Ensuring that al KPI's as set by the board are met consistently through organisational performance excellence.

Accountable for but not limited to the following function: • Strategy Management: • Drive SANAS to achieve its mandate • Strategy formulation and weaving into business plans • Ensure stringent risk management • Ensure SANAS meets all the dti targets. Key Stakeholder Relations Management: • Manage stakeholders including regional / international committees through strong networking and collaboration expertise • Manage key government relations. People Management: • Lead Human Capital by creating a strong culture of engagement and cohesiveness which is aligned to SANAS values • Enabling a climate conducive for performance excellence and employee growth • Be an inspirational leader and create organisational wellness • Extensive regional and overseas traveling.
