PROGRAMME MANAGER Three - year contract Unit/Directorate: Research Capacity Development Region : Cape Town CLOSING DATE: 16 MARCH 2021 A post exists in the Division of Research Capacity Development (RCD) of the South African Medical Research Council. The incumbent will be responsible for programmatic management of the whole RCD portfolio including monitoring and evaluation, scientific analysis & scientific writing. The incumbent will also be responsible for compliance oversight (administrative, financial & legal). Strategically the incumbent must develop and prepare 1st drafts of important RCD submissions (e.g. to Quarterly Board and Executive Management Committee). They will be responsible for developing a marketing strategy of RCD and input into overall RCD strategy. The incumbent must develop an impact assessment strategy for RCD work and ensure that this is communicated internally and to the public on a regular basis.
