CLINICAL TRIAL NURSE One-Year Contract Unit/Directorate: HIV Prevention Research Unit Region: Durban Office Closing date: 14 March 2021 The SAMRC’s HIV Prevention Research Unit (HPRU) requires dedicated, qualified and experienced clinical trial nurses to work on HIV and COVID 19 studies/ clinical trials. The Nurse will conduct HIV pre and post-test counseling, risk reduction counseling, medical history taking, clinical assessments and procedures, collection of biological specimens and perform detailed record keeping according to study protocols. Given the current Global pandemic, the HPRU is also currently committed to conducting COVID-19 related research work, which will also be a part of the scope of duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate.

A salary in the region of R384 657 per annum, cost-to-company, will be negotiated in consideration of experience and qualifications.
