ROAD TRAFFIC INFRINGEMENT AGENCY (RTIA) EXECUTIVE POSITIONS
Duties: * Provide strategic leadership to the Division: * Contribute to the development of the RTIA strategy and ensure existence of relevant divisional measures * Lead the development and implementation of Divisional Operational plans * Develop and manage the Divisional risk management strategies and risk registers * Prepare and manage the Divisional budget * Ensure the division complies with all legislative and governance prescripts * Lead the development of innovative interventions for continuous improvement initiatives for the division * Lead procedures to discourage contraventions of traffic laws: * Lead the representations functions and guide the credible and efficient adjudication of representations * Oversee the adjudications, revocations, demerits and rehabilitation units * Guide and manage the establishment of rehabilitation programmes * Guide and lead the administrative support for reviews and appeals function * Provide capacity building and change management through leadership of the divisional human capital. Post: Deputy Registrar: Corporate Services Department: Corporate Services Reference: DRCS/RTIA/2019 Salary: Negotiable Term: Permanent Requirements: * A Master’s Degree Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources or equivalent qualification * Ten (10) years’ working experience, seven (7) of which must be at Senior Management * Good knowledge of the AARTO Act, National Road Traffic Act and any other legislation and regulations impacting on road traffic * Candidates must be able to apply his/her mind fairly, objectively and uphold justice and the good values of the Agency * Proficiency in English * Valid driving license.
