PUBLIC SERVICE CO-ORDINATING BARGAINING COUNCIL (PSCBC) The Public Service Coordinating Bargaining Council (PSCBC), established in terms of Section 35 of the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995, is responsible for the following: The maintenance and promotion of labour peace. Prevention and resolution of labour disputes and. The promotion of collective bargaining in the Public Service. Key Performance Areas: The Officer: Case Management will be responsible for accurate and prompt capturing, scheduling and updating of disputes referred to the PSCBC, on the case management system, Ensure set-down notices are issued in compliance with the relevant statutes and that time frames are adhered to in accordance with the conduct of proceedings, Provide reliable and efficient administrative support to panellists and other staff as operationally required, Prompt handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence, Accurate data and preparation of reports, Processing of panellist payments, Maintain panellist diaries for proper administration of dispute management, Maintain a systematic and secure filling system of correspondences, Dissemination of information to panellists and other stakeholders, Ensure panellist compliance with the Service Level Agreement, PSCBC Constitution rules and relevant legislation, Professional handling of walk-in and telephonic enquiries, And all other reasonable duties as required to maintain the efficient/effective operation of the Dispute Management Unit. ADMINISTRATOR: COMMUNICATIONS (AC) BASIC SALARY: R 208 584.00 (LEVEL 6) PER ANNUM PLUS PROVIDENT FUND BENEFITS; MEDICAL ASSISTANCE; HOUSING ALLOWANCE & 13 CHEQUE Requirements: This position is suited for a dynamic, self-motivated professional with in- depth understanding of the communications environment. Candidates should be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate or an equivalent qualification with at least 1 year relevant work experience in an administrative role. A relevant diploma in Administration/ Marketing/ Communications or Journalism will be an added advantage. Essential criteria: Administration, planning, and communication skills including verbal and written communication. Time management, interpersonal, computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and knowledge of the latest digital technologies and social media trends. The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, proficiency in English and attention to detail. Customer service orientated with a positive and motivated attitude. Key Performance Areas: The Administrator: Communications will be responsible for handling telephone, email and general enquiries, disseminating general information to colleagues and stakeholders to ensure good communication flow within the unit, assist in the coordination and planning of events, guest relations, assist with branding and marketing of events, coordinating of travel and accommodation bookings, maintaining of office supplies and equipment for the unit, assist in the procurement of library books, assist with incoming and outgoing of library material and all other reasonable duties as required to maintain the efficient/effective operation of the Communications Management Unit. ADMINISTRATOR: RESOURCE CENTRE (ARC) BASIC SALARY: R 208 584.00 (LEVEL 6) PER ANNUM PLUS PROVIDENT FUND BENEFITS; MEDICAL ASSISTANCE; HOUSING ALLOWANCE & 13 CHEQUE Requirements: This position is suited for a dynamic, self-motivated professional with in- depth understanding of the communications environment. Key Performance Areas: The Administrator: Resource Centre will be responsible for managing the PSCBC learning resource facilities, Managing the acquisition, organization and dissemination of library material (books, periodicals, newspapers, Acts and Statutes and other electronic media), monitor library material subscriptions and ensure timeous renewal and/ or termination of subscriptions, maintain a catalogue of all material in the resource centre, assist in the coordination and planning of events, assist with branding and marketing of events, maintaining of office supplies and equipment for the unit, managing incoming and outgoing of library material and all other reasonable duties as required to maintain the efficient/effective operation of the Communications Management Unit.
