Ensure that the Board and Executive Management are aware of all the laws and regulations affecting the Entity and the reporting requirements.
Facilitate Training and Development of Board Members. The incumbent report administratively to the CEO and has operational responsibilities towards the Board. Support the Entity in relation to Corporate Governance. REQUIREMENTS:The following requirements are applicable to the position: A relevant Degree such as LLB or equivalent qualification recognised by SAQA. Admitted Attorney or Advocate. Chartered Institute of Secretaries (CIS) qualification will be an added advantage. At least 5 years working experience in Company Secretarial role in Public and/ or Private sector with sound knowledge and understanding of Corporate Law, Commercial Law and Corporate Governance.
