Successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer Position: Infrastructure Planning and Development Manager Duration of the contract: Three (3) years Salary: Negotiable Location: Mahikeng Purpose: To develop and maintain infrastructure plans Minimum Requirements: Applicant must be in possession of a degree in Civil Engineering and registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). An MBA/MBL will be an advantage. Knowledge of Government, policies, strategies and environment (including a working knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and Government procurement processes Must have 5-8 years' experience in planning massive social and economic infrastructure projects. Knowledge of the application and processes relating to development of SEZ's or PPP's and other Government Infrastructure funding mechanisms Sound understanding of infrastructure planning and development. Sound financial management, stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong research, report, writing and analytical skills. Strong leadership and strategic leadership skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to interpret by-laws, resolutions, contracts, official records and related legal documents and prepare draft materials when required. Capable of managing multiple projects at the same time and a valid driver's license. Successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Executive Manager SEZ Project Position: Business Development, Investment Facilitation and Promotion Manager Duration of the contract: Three (3) years Salary: Negotiable Location: Mahikeng Purpose: To develop, update and implement SEZ Business Development, Investment products and Facilitation and Promotion Strategies and Plans targeted at designated sectors, industrial value chains, industrial clusters and targeted projects. Minimum Requirements: Applicant must be in possession of Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Investment or International Trade and project management qualification. Having 5 years' experience in programme and/or project management. Knowledge of Corporate Law and relevant legislation. Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and other relevant legislation. A very good understanding of the relationships between SEZ and its shareholder and strategic external stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of project management. Experience in infrastructure development, property management and facilities management. Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Ability to make high-level business presentations and decisions. Knowledge of strategic projects development and implementation. Actively promotes collaborative work between private and public key stakeholders. Develops written and verbal communications aimed at various audiences and communicates using language and style to capture the attention of the audience. Communicates well at senior levels and handles one on one discussions as well as potentially hostile individuals in a group situation and a valid driver's license. Successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Executive Manager SEZ Project Position: Project Officer Duration of the contract: Three (3) years Salary: Negotiable Location: Mahikeng Purpose: To develop and maintain database of infrastructure plans and consolidating projects information, impacts and providing internal and external stakeholder reports on infrastructure and investment projects. Minimum Requirements: Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management/Quantity Survey/Construction Management/Supply Chain Management/ Economics and project management qualification, Must have 3-5 years' experience in programme and/or project management, Knowledge of Supply Chain prescripts and relevant legislation, Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and other relevant legislation, A very good understanding of the relationships between SEZ and its shareholder and strategic external stakeholders, Working knowledge of project management. Experience in infrastructure development, property management and facilities management, Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures, Ability to make business presentations and make recommendations, Knowledge of strategic projects development and implementation.
