Requirements/ Experience:
Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge and interpretation of the NRCS Act; In-depth knowledge of applicable compulsory specifications and technical regulations; Good understanding of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act; In-depth knowledge of International Food Code and Food Standards setting processes in Codex Alimentarius; Good understanding of legislations of various other trading Countries; In-depth and good knowledge of the Standards Act; working knowledge of risk management; Presentation skills; Project management skills; Budgeting principles; Good knowledge of the inspection and testing methodology including microbiological methodologies and the interpretations thereof; In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems ; ability to facilitate and foster good learning platforms; In depth knowledge of corporate governance policies and procedures; Ability to initiate stakeholder engagements and establish synergies within the various stakeholders. Good knowledge of MS Office programs- MS WORD, MS EXCEL.
