NATIONAL REGULATOR FOR COMPULSORY SPECIFICATIONS (NRCS) The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) was established on 1 September 2008 in accordance with the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications Act. It is an agency of the dti, established to administer compulsory specifications and other technical regulations with the view to protect human health and safety, the environment and to ensure fair trade, in accordance with Government policies and guidelines. It is the NRCS intention to promote equity through the filling of posts, according to set Employment Equity targets. Requirements/ Experience:
Technical Knowledge & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Knowledge of National Treasury Regulations, In-depth knowledge of GRAP, ASB, IAF, ISB and all other applicable prescripts; In-depth knowledge of accounts payable and receivable functions, In-depth knowledge of revenue collection, cash flow and asset management functions; In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, Sound knowledge of financial policies, procedures and processes; Advanced Excel; Highly analytical and numerate, people management skills Behavioural Competencies: Communication skills; Interpersonal skills; Team player; Attention to detail; Results oriented; Deadline driven; Trustworthy; Honesty/Integrity; Time management skills NB: Preferred candidate is Any Female (African/Coloured/Indian/White) & People with Disabilities in order to meet NRCS EE targets as per our EE Plan.
