BACKGROUND Matthew Goniwe School of Leadership and Governance (MGSLG) Is a Section 21 organisation located in Vrededorp, Johannesburg. MGSLG is an entity of the Gauteng Department of Education and was established to research, develop, implement and evaluate cutting edge capacity building programmes in the areas of school governance, leadership, management and teacher development to empower school governors, principals, deputy principals, HoDs and educators for schools in the Gauteng Province. Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities • Identify, develop and manage the revenue diversification opportunities, ensuring delivery of objectives and being accountable for financial cost model and optimum utilization of resources. • Lead the development of a revenue diversification strategic framework and plan. • To bring about and embed institutional and cultural change in the way that income generation is focused and operates within MGSLG. • Prospect and submit grants and tender propositions. • Pursue non-monetary capital through collaborations such as MTN CIS local and global. • Build and maintain high quality relationships necessary for strategic partnerships with other enterprises both local and global in order to leverage their existing business networks. • Work with the executive and marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business, service offerings and innovations. Qualifications, Skills, Experience • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Costing, Economics and Public Administration, or related areas. An Honours Degree will be advantageous. • The incumbent should have in-depth professional knowledge and experience in a specialized field or broad knowledge of a number of fields that include marketing, communications, business management, education. • The incumbent should have about 3 years of experience in the revenue enhancement, fundraising or related fields, inclusive of experience in managerial, strategic partnerships and stakeholder management.
