Applications are invited from interested parties for the filling of vacant posts which exist in the Limpopo Legislature and as outlined herein. However, the Limpopo Legislature reserves the right not to fill these vacancies. 2. JOB REQUIREMENTS e) A Bachelor’s degree in IT (or equivalent IT qualification); f) Three to five years IT management experience; and g) Five years post qualification experience in IT. DUTIES a) Ensures the alignment of the Legislatures IT strategy with the strategic direction, management plans and business processes of the Legislature; b) Establishes an IT plan and operational plans to give effect to the strategic direction and management plans; c) Manages and ensure stability of infrastructure – server, computer hardware, communications and network – in line with IT risk, compliance, control and governance requirements and practices; d) Ensures data and systems administration, security and recovery in line with standard IT governance best practice; e) Develops IT Policies, implement and maintain and facilitate the implementation of and adherence to the policies and strategies; f) Promotes effective management of information and information technology as a strategic resource; g) Develops technology systems infrastructure architecture and conduct investigations into the maintenance of existing technologies, availability, needs and demand of new technologies; and h) Implements appropriate security controls over IT systems and information. i) Ensures that IT is innovative in developing strategies and systems that will enable the institution to fulfil its mandates in the light of the 4IR and remote operation. COMPETENCIES a) Plan and manage the implementation of all IT projects in line with the strategy and performance needs of the Legislature; b) Adhere to the system of delegations in the Legislature; c) Effectively manage the performance management of employees in the section; d) Provide technical support services to Members, management, employees of the Legislature, regional and NCOP offices; e) Represent the Legislature at various IT fora in the sector, provincially and nationally; and f) Prepare and communicate monthly and quarterly reports of the IT function’s activities and outputs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: a) B Com degree in Finance or equivalent relevant qualifications; b) Three to five years relevant work experience in Finance, Supply Chain and Strategic Management; and c) Knowledge of the Constitution, legislation (FMPPLA)s and other relevant regulations. DUTIES: a) Supports and participate in the Legislature’s strategic planning process; b) Monitors the implementation and compliance to the FMPPLA; c) Develops, implements, and ensure compliance to systems and procedures; d) Provides advice and Risk/Return Analysis on Fiscal Decisions of the Legislature; e) Develops revenue enhancement strategies and guidelines for the Legislature; f) Support the CFO in preparing financial statements in accordance with GRAP; g) People management and empowerment within the Treasury function; h) Provides support and advice to the Executive Authority in the preparation of budget. i) Analyse strategic plans, annual performance plans and Legislature budget reports submitted to the Executive Authority and provides appropriate advice; j) Advises and gives support with the preparation of the institution’s annual report; k) Establishes effective knowledge management systems for Treasury Advice Office; l) Analyses financial statements and advise the Executive Authority accordingly; and m) Ensures that there is an updated policy on cash management and reports to the Executive Authority on its implementation. JOB REQUIREMENTS a) Three years Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Information Technology ICT or equivalent relevant qualification; b) A+ (Hardware and software support certification); c) N+ (Networking administration and support certification); d) Windows 200 server experience; e) At least two years knowledge of TCP/IP and Windows Server, experience in implementing local areas networks using Window operating systems; and f) MCP (Microsoft certified professional). DUTIES a) Configures and install Windows workstations in response to the demands of the network design; b) Performs network system administration on network server as needed; c) Troubleshoot network cabling infrastructure incl. local area network (LAN) and software; d) Works with vendors to resolve hardware operating system issues; e) Identifies, troubleshoots and resolve hardware-related, software-related, and the network related problems encountered by end-users of the network, the internet, the desktops and new computer technology; and f) Trains end-users on the use and features of the operation systems and applications. COMPETENCIES a) Ability to solve problems and provide information to clients; b) Contributes to building good client relations and attainment of high-quality service standards; and c) Proficiency in the application of techniques. JOB REQUIREMENTS a) Grade 12 certificate or any equivalent qualification; b) Two to three (2-3) years’experiences; c) Code 10 drivers’licences (C1) with PRDP; and d) Defensive and advanced training will be an added advantage. DUTIES a) Ensures safe arrival to the destination as per stipulated times; b) Inspects all vehicles before and after each trip and report all faults; c) Reports all vehicles which are due for service; d) Observes rules of the road (i.e. as per National Road Traffic Act) while driving; e) Transports other official passengers only as mandated by the employer (i.e. on board); f) Cleans pool and VIP vehicles; g) Assists with loading and off-loading of material when manpower is required; and h) Posts, collect and deliver all mails and newspapers for the institution in time as per requests.
