Applications are hereby invited for the filling of 15(fifteen) vacant posts of Circuit Monitor (Chief Administration Clerk) plus one(1) post of Administration Officer, which exists in the Limpopo Department of Education as outlined on the attached Annexure A. 2. DUTIES: Collect and submit learner's enrolment and number of schools and food handlers every year for business planning purposes. Process applications to ensure that all schools and learners that deserve to be in the programme do participate. Monitor the implementation of the programme policies in all benefiting schools Facilitate funding transfers to schools utilizing decentralized procurement model. Conduct capacity building workshops on sustainable food production projects. Conduct capacity building workshops on food safety, hygiene and nutrition education. Conduct road shows on how NSNP should be managed. Monitor the performance of service providers in terms of compliance with quantities and qualities of foodstuff deliveries. Monitor the compliance of schools regarding food safety and nutrition standard practices. Compiling of NSNP suppliers claims and checking that the information on the invoices and supporting documents are correct before submission to the District office. Compiling of Honoraria and fuel claims of all the schools participating in the Programme. Establish database of enrolment, Food handlers, EPWP beneficiaries, utensils, food gardens and equipment Handle queries from schools related to programme implementation. Disseminate NSNP information to all key stakeholders. Consolidation of reports for both NSNP and EPWP from schools on monthly, quarterly, annual bases and provide means of verification Attend all the programme planned annual meetings. 2. Post : Admin Officer x 1 post Ref No : LDoE 16/07/20 Directorate : Special Projects (NSNP) Salary : R257 508.00 per annum Salary Level : 07 Station : Head Office (POLOKWANE) REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate), plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF 7 or 6) in Administration or Public Management as recognized by SAQA. Training / certificate in Project Management. A minimum of 2 - 3 years' relevant experience in rendering a support service or managing administrative functions. Previous experience of working with Nutrition related Programmes / projects will be advantageous Ability to work to under pressure and sometimes away from office. Knowledge of Legislative frameworks applicable to the implementation of National School Nutrition Programme. Working knowledge of the Public sector, Relevant South African Education Acts; Public service Act and regulations. Valid driver's license is a prerequisite {minimum code 08} and ability to operate such a vehicle. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Able to operate as individual and with a team, other qualities / skills are as follows; project management, financial administration, planning facilitation, conflict resolution, management skills, Computer literate (MS Word, Power Point and Excel); Report writing, Presentation, Excellent communication, both verbal and written. Ability to attend to detail and ensure the correctness of information. DUTIES: Provide administrative support to NSNP management as required. Arrange meetings for both internal and external clientele base. Arrange travelling and accommodation for NSNP annual planned activities. Make requisition and follow up on the orders generated. Making sure that service providers timely submit invoices for services rendered. Check and validate invoices for payment of the goods received. Capture and update expenditure within the component. Record, organize, store, capture and retrieve correspondence and data. Liaise with the Districts pertaining to information requested by the Province. Manage both internal and external correspondence. Proper filling and record keeping of all NSNP documents. Make all logistical arrangements of all annual activities within NSNP. Assist with capturing of information during quarterly reviews, development of NSNP annual activities, and development of annual business plans. Act as focal personnel between the Province and the Districts. Type reports, Memorandums, Circulars or any other document as required. Capture NSNP related data. Assist with programme monitoring and annual evaluation.
