Key Responsibilities: • Manage the execution of vetting fieldwork investigations within the Department and coordinate in the Province. • Develop, manage and implement policies, guidelines, norms and standards operating procedures in vetting and investigations for security clearance levels. • Provide effectivecommunication channels and systems between the department and SSA/ SAPS and other related institutions. Duties: The successful candidate will be required to: Prepare financial statements as prescribed in terms of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations • Monitoring, evaluating and researching accounting principles and guidelines in line with practice notes, treasury guidelines & GRAP • Analysis and monitoring of the expenditure and revenue information and render advice to Directorates on inputs to the Financial Statements • Preparationof financial reports for CARC and other Finance Committees •Coordinate audit queries from the Office of the Auditor-General.
