SPECIALIST: REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS Job Grade: D1 TCC Employment Status: Permanent Purpose: Manage comprehensive compensation and benefits function within JHB City Metrobus by developing, implementing and controlling the administrative guidelines, procedural requirements, processes and systems in order to ensure an effective and legislatively compliant and accurate payroll service for timeous payment of all Metrobusemployees, including the development, advocacy and maintenance of employee benefits. Essential Requirements: •A three-year Bachelor's degree or National diploma in Human Resources Management •Diploma in Payroll Management is advantageous • Competency in all SAP payroll modules •Exposure to other payroll systems, such as Oracle will be advantageous • Minimum of 5 years payroll experience, at least 3 years’ experience of these in Specialist Capacity in an MOE or Local Government position •Previous exposure to an environment where 3rd party payments to an Entity are made. Key Performance Areas: •Manage Employee Benefits •Manage payroll services • Management of information and reporting •Capacitate the Compensation and Benefits team. MANAGER: MAINTENANCE Job Grade: D3 TCC Employment Status: Permanent Purpose: Manage Workshop Services. Essential Requirements: •Qualified Artisan with a Business Management degree •6 to 10 years Supervisory and Business Management experience in a similar position. Key Performance Areas: •Comply with all budget parameters and stay within all budget cost limits •Ensure that all vehicles are serviced on time and to correct manufacturer's recommendations •Provide Operations with their approved daily requirements of buses. OFFICER - TECHNICAL ANALYST Job Grade: C4 Employment Status: Permanent Purpose: Deliver expert technical support and advice on business operations through the collection and analysis of data so as to provide value added insight information on repairs and maintenance of Buses and fleet , fuel/energy consumption with a view to improve efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness of Metrobus business operations. Essential Requirements: •Grade 12 plus a National diploma or Bachelor's degree (NQF Level 6) in Transport Management, Operations Management Services (Organisation and Work Study), Industrial Engineering, Data Metrics or similar qualification at NQF Level 6 •A valid Code EB driver's licence •Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in data collection, analysis and reporting on Technical Business Operations acquired from a Bus/Transportation Industry, of which 2 years must be at a Supervisory level. Key Performance Areas: •Conduct Out of Commission/Downtime studies on buses/fleet and compile reports with recommendations for improvement •Conduct research/studies on fuel consumption of buses/fleet •Research, conceptualise, institute and measure Business Operations Technical indicators •Collect and analyse data •Compile report and action quality assurance findings. OFFICER - OPERATIONS ANALYST Job Grade: C4 Employment Status: Permanent Purpose: Deliver expert transportation support and advice on the entity's business operations through the collection and analysis of data so as to provide value added insight information on scheduling, optimum utilisation and deployment of transportation resources, trouble-shooting and resolution of daily problems in the deployment of buses with a view to improve customer service, quality and cost-effectiveness of Metrobus business operations. Essential Requirements: •Grade 12 plus a National diploma or Bachelor's degree (NQF Level 6) in Transport Management, Operations Management Services (Organisation and Work Study), Industrial Engineering, Data Metrics or similar qualification at NQF Level 6 •A valid Code EB driver's licence •Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in data collection, analysis and reporting on Technical Business Operations acquired from a Bus/Transportation Industry,of which 2 years must be at a Supervisory level. Key Performance Areas: •Conduct transport/route optimisation studies/investigations on buses/fleet and compile reports with recommendations for improvement •Monitor driver behaviour pertaining to operation of buses and customer interface with a view to recommend appropriate interventions, such as training/development of front-line staff in conjunction with Training and Development Division •Research, conceptualise, institute the measure BusinessOperations Business indicators •Collect and analyse data •Partner with Technical •Compile reports and action quality assurance findings.
