Key performance Areas: Groundwater data monitoring and collection, processing and dissemination Ensure the database is receiving the data from the data loggers and check the completeness and correctness of data including evaluation of relevant loggers to be used per gauging site. Calibration of measuring instruments. Determine the current groundwater status and statistics and estimated future status and statistics through the interpretation of the data. Set up alarms and alerts in terms of identified critical variables in support of aquifer operations. Assist in providing technical reports, calculations, charts, maps, tables, and data in support of resource planning and operations. Assist in geophysical surveys. Manual collection of groundwater levels and sampling. Maintain the IUCMA groundwater loggers, probes and associated equipment to ensure reliable and continuous data capturing, develop and coordinate maintenance programmes. Liaise with and coordinate activities with any PSP’s appointed to assist the IUCMA with the maintenance function. Provide geohydrological support for other divisions principles. Liaise with relevant institutions and supplier stakeholders on transverse financial issues.
