MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The Brand Manager calls for a highly skilled individual who has a minimum qualification of a Bachelors Degree in International Marketing/Brand Management,/PR & Communications/Marketing, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. CENTRAL PROCUREMENT OFFICER Total Cost to Company Package ranging from R 401 860 — R 594 203 per annum (all-inclusive) Hay Group Salary Scale Level 14 GTA seeks to appoint a Central Procurement Officer who has the ability to provide Supply Chain Management support services to the organization through implementing effective SCM policies, procedures and systems and achieve the total value spend on suppliers. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Amongst others the incumbent will be responsible for. Coordinate the entire bid/quotation process. Assist with achieving spending targets of the organization. Conduct needs assessment by collecting and analysing relevant data, categorising commodities and confirming availability of funds. Advise end users on deviations from normal processes in accordance with the SCM policy and all applicable legislation. Guide and support internal procurement related committees. COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER Total Cost to Company Package ranging from R 864 400 — R 1 237 455 per annum (all-inclusive) Hay Group Salary Scale Leve118 GTA seeks to appoint the Communications Manager who has the ability to lead, direct and manage the internal and external communication requirements for GTA by implementing effective methodologies, frameworks, policies, procedures and systems to manage communication operations. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Amongst others, the incumbent will be responsible for Developing and implement an annual destination communications and media relations plan. Ensure an integrated approach to internal stakeholder communication management. Establish the Media Content Hub to provide a broad range of information on upcoming events, new products and the latest news from Gauteng Tourism, destination Gauteng as well as access to the image library & other assets. Identify GTA stakeholders and targeted audiences for heightened communication. Manage and control the corporate communications unit budget, ensuring excellent use of funds to achieve the best possible return on investment Manage and coordinate internal communications programmes. Serve as the Chief Editor of the GTA Publications. Build solid relations with the media in both domestic, regional and international markets. Participate in inter-departmental and agencies communications forums. Draft GTA's press releases, opinion pieces and stakeholder communique in line with the integrated communications policy. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The Communications Manager calls for a highly skilled individual who has a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Journalism/Media Studies with a minimum of 8 years experience in Communications/Journalism /Media Studies. Of the 8 years experience, at least 5 years must be at a management level.
CREATIVE OFFICER Total Cost to Company Package ranging from R 485 438 — R 720 142 per annum (all-inclusive) Hay Group Salary Scale Level 15 GTA seeks to appoint the Senior Creative Officer who has the ability to ensure the effective implementation and creative production of the GTA creative brand communications and marketing needs through the provision of quality creative services. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Amongst others the incumbent will be responsible for: Create, revise and develop GTA creative brand communications and marketing projects in line with the broader destination marketing strategy. Liaise with outside agencies in the coordination of brand Gauteng creative marketing work. Oversee daily tasks allocated to junior creative interns. Manage the GTA creative brand marketing tools and products (software). Allocate and coordinate a project team and provide support and direction. Oversee effective creative services content development including sub-editing and copy editing of all marketing projects. High-level creative design including video editing, animation, digital design etc. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The Senior Creative Officer calls for a highly skilled individual who has a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design/Marketing/Communications with a minimum of 3 years experience in Arts/Graphic Design. ICT MANAGER Total Cost to Company Package ranging from R 864 409 — R 1 237 455 per annum (all-inclusive) Hay Group Salary Scale Level 18 GTA seeks to appoint a CT Manager who has the ability to provide overall management and of the ICT unit, ensuring that all CT processes and systems support and compliment the GTAs overall needs and strategy. Also, provides advice on all aspects of CT infrastructure and services including Business Contingency Plans. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Amongst others the incumbent will be responsible for: Developing an ICT strategy and plan aligned with the overall strategic objectives of CIA. Manage the information technology function of GTA and ensure the establishment of sound information systems management. Maintain external relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external consultants on specific projects. Develop, implement, review and report on the ICT Governance Framework. Establish and maintain strategic partnership with vendors/ service providers. Provide appropriate supervision to subordinates and provide relevant training and mentoring. LEISURE & DOMESTIC TOURISM MARKETING MANAGER Total Cost to Company Package ranging from R 712 128 — R 1 059 033 per annum (all-inclusive)* Hay Group Salary Scale Level 17 GTA seeks to appoint a Leisure & Domestic Tourism Marketing Manager who has the ability to ensure the effective promotion of Gauteng as a tourist destination through various campaigns and channels in fine with the destination marketing strategy with special focus on leisure and domestic tourism marketing, coordination and management. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Amongst others the incumbent will be responsible for. Developing the Leisure Tourism Management Plan in line with the broader GTA destination marketing strategy. Identity, develop and implement leisure campaigns aimed at positioning Gauteng as a preferred leisure destination for domestic and international markets. EVENT SUPPORT OFFICER Total Cost to Company Package ranging from R 332 021— R 491 162 per annum (all-inclusive) • Hay Group Salary Scale Level 13 GTA seeks to appoint an Event Support Officer who has the ability to maximise the economic and socio-economic impacts of Gauteng supported events by implementing creative and effective marketing strategies that create brand awareness and maximise participation. In addition, coordinating and managing initiatives related to cultural, sporting and lifestyle events within Gauteng Convention and Events Bureau (GCEB). KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Amongst others the incumbent will be responsible for. Lead and/or support initiatives related to cultural, sporting and lifestyle events by working with the Events team, and appropriate stakeholders, as required. Adjudicate and Monitor event proposals to ensure compliance to RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements. EVENT BIDDING RESEARCH OFFICER Total Cost to Company Package ranging from R 332 021 — R 491 162 per annum (ail-inclusive) Hay Group Salary Scale Level 13 GTA seeks to appoint the Event Bid Research Officer who has the ability to source MICE opportunities for Gauteng. The incumbent will lead the preparation and submission of MICE bid proposals to support the business events pipeline in Gauteng. In addition, to manage the proposal development process to ensure on-time delivery of a compelling, compliant, and well-written bid proposals within Gauteng Convention and Events Bureau (GCEB). KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: a minimum of 3 years experience years working in the MICE industry. Direct bid proposal kick-off and debrief meetings, as well as prepare detailed proposal plans. Manage the bid proposal development process to ensure on-time delivery of compelling, compliant, and well-written bid proposals. Monitor proposal content to ensure compliance to bid requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The Event Bidding Research Officer calls for a highly skilled individual who has a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Tourism, Marketing or Bachelor of Arts majoring in a Social Sciences, with a minimum of 3 years experience years working in the MICE industry. FINANCE MANAGER Total Cost to Company Package ranging from R 864 400 — R 1 237 455 per annum (all-inclusive) Hay Group Salary Scale Level 18 GTA seeks to appoint a Finance Manager who has the ability to provide effective financial management including financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance with the relevant legislation and statutory requirements and management of associated risks. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Amongst others the incumbent will be responsible for Prepare annual and interim financial statements that are GAAP compliant. Preparation and coordination of the annual organisational budgeting process. Accurate reconciliations of monthly management of general ledger accounts, with reconciling items resolved within a reasonable period. Implement suitable financial policies, processes, procedures, standards and systems and effective financial controls. Lead and facilitate the financial reporting on budgets. Ensure that assets and consumables registers are in place, accurate, and updated at the predetermined time. Ensure accuracy of payroll preparation and processing, payroll accounting, tax filing and remittance, benefits maintenance and various other special payments. Draw-up, negotiate, agree and sign performance contracts with all direct reports. Ensure provision of financial information and analytics as required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The Finance Manager calls for a highly skilled individual who has a minimum qualification of a B Com (Accounting). A qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) registered with SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) will be an added advantage.
