GAUTENG PARTNERSHIP FUND (GPF) Loan Accounts Receivable Officer (12 Months Fixed Term Contract) Salary: R217 998.00 to R371 000.00 per annum Location: Sandton Closing Date: 12 April 2021 Overall Responsibility: This role performs loan book servicing, collections on past due accounts and maintains Borrowers’ information in the various data systems within the GPF.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree / B Comm degree in Finance, Accounting or related qualification at NQF level 7. At least 5 years proven experience as a Receivable/Collection Officer. A valid code EB driver’s license. Competencies: Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations including PFMA and Treasury Regulations ● Astute Administrative skills in records management ● Presentation and Communication skills (written and verbal) ● Interpersonal and Team Management ● Ability to be proactive and innovative. ● Ability to solve problems related to tasks being performed ● Ability to work in a team ● Possess top level interpersonal relationship ● Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment ● Ability to work under pressure ● Ability to multitask ● Possess self-confidence and high level of reliability ● Possess unquestionable motivational spirit ● Ability to manage time and keep to schedule strictly ● Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Financial calculator competent ● Professionalism ● Excellent negotiator ● Attention to details ● Data entry ● Being well versed with software/technology used in finance ● Familiarity with country collection laws ● Knowledge of payment plan and accounting procedures.
