GAUTENG PARTNERSHIP FUND (GPF) Title of the Job: ICT Security Officer Grade / Level C3 (Paterson) Location: Sandton Salary: Market related Closing Date: 30 June 2021 Overall Responsibility: The incumbent is expected identifying cyber security risks and mitigating them through the deployment of technologies, processes, and awareness. Responsible for reporting on security breaches and recommending mitigations which should be applied in future.
Competencies: Proven experience in a ICT security role ● Knowledge of relevant ICT security Governance policies and legislations ● Must have demonstrated leadership ability and be security conscious ● Must possess an investigative mind set. ● Must have solid planning and organizing qualities. ● Must have a high level of Technical/ Professional knowledge. ● Must be risk averse and have prior exposure to forensic investigations. ● Effective consultative and influencing approach. ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels ● Self-motivated and a problem solver. ● Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations. ● Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills. ● Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision ● Strong analytical thinking, both in the technical and in the product domain ● Excellent communication skills, concise, and targeted towards your audience: engineers, products or stakeholders ● Interest in technology stacks ● Strong written and spoken English skills ● Strong Documentation skills GPF is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
