GAUTENG PARTNERSHIP FUND (GPF) Title of the Job: ICT Network and ICT Risk Operator Grade / Level C1 (Paterson) Location: Sandton Salary: Market related Closing Date: 25 November 2020
Qualification & Experience: A minimum of Appropriate Recognized Diploma in ICT or related qualification at (NQF Level 6). Ideally: a relevant (NQF 7) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. At least 3-4 years of work experience as an ICT network administrator or related field. Competencies: Proven experience in a network administrator role ● Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching ● Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure ● Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired ● Ability to set up and configure server hardware ● Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies ● Great at organising, prioritising and multitasking ● Juniper, Cisco, SAP, CWNA or BCNE training GPF is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
