GAUTENG PROVINCIAL LEGISLATURE Gauteng Provincial Legislature is a public sector institution established in terms of Section 108 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa of 1996. Executive Director: Leadership and Governance Five Year Performance Based Contract 1 (ONE) Level – P04 Annual Package: R 1 886 658,00 REPORTS TO: THE SECRETARY TO THE LEGISLATURE PURPOSE To provide strategic and tactical direction to the Leadership and Governance Programme, in support of the realisation of GPL’s Strategic Goal and Strategic Objectives. To ensure the implementation of the Programme processes, directives and pronouncements to support the political mandate of the Members of the Legislature through integrated initiatives with internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder relations strategy of GPL Qualifications and Experience: • Degree or equivalent in LLB Degree/B Juris/B Proc or equivalent Development program or equivalent qualification at National Qualification Framework (NQF) level 7 • Additional Qualifications in line with job requirements will be an added advantage • Minimum of 5 years’ operational experience of which 3 years to be in the field of management • 3 Years’ experience in the Public sector/Parliament/ Legislative environment • Preferable knowledge and experience in transformation, change management and strategy implementation.
