• Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure investigation fees have been paid prior to commencement of investigations.
Notify the applicant in writing (Recovery of Investigation Fees letter) of the investigation fee required. • Analyse and verify applicant's information in accordance with internal investigation guidelines, following approval of receipt of payment for investigation fees. • Analyse and verify the suitability of the employee or applicant (employee probity) within the environment and within the appropriate time frame. • Carry out company applicant investigations (company probity) in accordance with the Gambling Act which includes the following: Performing financial analysis of the company, Shareholders and Directors; Checking Board compliance with corporate governance; Verifying Directors' financial standing, compliance to tax, credit and criminal backgrounds. • Performing financial analysis of the company, shareholders and Directors. • Verifying Directors' financial standing, compliance to tax, credit and criminal backgrounds. • Checking reasonability of financial projections. Checking structure of the deal for financial interest applications • Prepare reports on investigations and make recommendations, highlight concerns, and provide background on transaction and the suitability of Directors and the company. • Ensure completeness of file and proper filing of all correspondence. • Reconcile investigation fee to close-off the original budget and submit to the Manager within two working days of Board's ruling. Note: All shortlisted candidates will be subject to compulsory competency assessment, background checks, GGB personal declaration and security clearance.
