Provide ICT advice and troubleshooting related to ICT operations for the Pretoria Office and Disaster recovery site.
Upgrading of servers Infrastructure as and when required. Implement measures to safeguard Freedom Park information assets by adhering to security best practice standards as guided by ISO2700 or the latest. Implement ICT SOPS (Standard Operation Procedures) that aim to address cyber security threats or similar. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS -Oversee the development and execution of the IT strategy and overall responsibility of direction setting and management of IT function. -Oversee the effective IT programme management and project management delivery capabilities. -Manage IT risk and security and governance. -Drive process/system improvements to optimise systems functionality to achieve organisational goals. -Manage key external and internal relationships. -Lead and drive IT financial management. -Manage identified and ad-hoc ICT projects -Plan, develop, implement and review ICT Strategy with due consideration of Enterprise Architecture principles of the organisation in order to ensure that all ICT initiatives are aligned to, and support the strategic objectives of the organization. -Identify, scope and effectively manage all ICT projects in order to ensure that they are delivered within budget, quality, time so as to meet the business requirements. -Develop and implement ICT Service Management framework based on best practices and standards to ensure that ICT services are delivered in line with business expectations. -Develop or review, and implement ICT Continuity plan to ensure that the organisation's information resources are protected so as to ensure uninterrupted business operations . -Ensure that Contingency and Risk Planning is developed and implemented. -Manage the departments' human resources function in order to ensure optimal performance and thereby facilitating achievements of the business objectives. -Set up and manage the department’s budget in order to ensure appropriate allocation and optimal use of resources in line with the business plan. -Reporting to an array of governance structures within the organisation -Implement ICT SOPS(Standard Operation Procedures) that aim to address cyber security threats or similar -ICT Infrastructure Support
JOB REQUIREMENTS Relevant undergraduate qualification (NQF7) and a Post Degree qualification in Information System, or Computer Science or related relevant qualification. A+,MCSE,/MCITP, Network+, security certification, ITIL foundation certification is preferred. Experience Minimum of 8 years experience in ICT management position. Experience with virtualization viz. HypeV, VMware, Good cloud experience Dell Equallogic and Dell Power Edge Microsoft Products Cisco Networking Firewall Routers Microsoft Server Infrastructure EMail Archiving Veeam Replication (or similar) and Back up Support. Kaspersky (or similar) End Point Protection. Disaster Recovery Service Email Services Telecommunication Support Desk-side Support, iPad, Server and laptops. Knowledge Knowledge Management Service Delivery Innovation IT Governance principles IT Services Management Framework or standards Knowledge of ICT Business Applications (e.g. SAP Knowledge of Communication Technologies including broad casting Knowledge of customer service/customer focus Knowledge of Risk Management including IT Security SLA and contract management Enterprise Architecture Extensive Project Management experience and Systems Analysis experience Service Management Competencies Strategic Capacity and Leadership, People Management and empowerment, Financial Management, Change Management, ICT Strategic Leadership and Capability, ICT Programme and Project, ICT Governance, Enterprise Architecture.
