ASSESSMENT QUALITY PARTNER COORDINATOR (REF.: 28136/02) Salary: R687 811.60 per annum (Total Cost to Company) JOB PURPOSE: To coordinate and participate in the accreditation of assessment centres and implementation of external integrated summative assessments processes in order to support the ETPD SETA in implementing the sector skills plan to facilitate skills development for constituent employers in the Education, Training and Development (ETD) sector. The successful incumbent will be reporting to the Head of Department: Qualifications Development and Quality Assurance and will be based at the ETDP SETA office located in Johannesburg. The candidate must have the following minimum requirements: JOB REQUIREMENTS: An Assessment Quality Partner Coordinator is sought with the following minimum requirements: •A minimum 3 years degree in Education, Training and Development field, Human Resources Development, Business Administration or Public Administration •A qualification in Quality Assurance will be an advantage •At least 5 years ETD experience and good understanding of the SETAs and Skills Development environment •Extensive experience in the learnership, assessment, quality assurance and have an understanding of assessment and moderation processes •Experience and knowledge of quality assurance legislative imperatives •Knowledge of QCTO functions and processes •Sound knowledge of the Skills Development Act, National Skills Development Plan, ETD Practices standards, assessor and moderator standards •Excellent interpersonal skills and people management skills •Good verbal and written communication skills •Computer literacy and Management Information System (MIS) skills •A valid driver’s licence. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER (ETDQA OFFICER) - FREE STATE AND MPUMALANGA (2 POSTS) (REF.: 28136/03) Salary: R552 730.15 per annum (Total Cost To Company) JOB PURPOSE: To assist with the accreditation of providers by administering Phase A and B of accreditation and make recommendations. Improve the relationship of the ETDP SETA and the providers through service excellence. The successful applicants will be based at the ETDP SETA office located in Bloemfontein and the ETDP SETA office located in Nelspruit. The successful candidates will be reporting to the Provincial Managers in the respective provincial offices and must have the following minimum requirements: JOB REQUIREMENTS: •A three-year Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Education, Training and Development or Human Resources Development or Human Resources Management or Public Administration •A recognised qualification in Quality Management/ Assurance or ODETDP qualification being an advantage •Possession of the following unit standards: SAQA 115753 and SAQA 115759 will also serve as an added advantage •At least 4 years proven experience in the Education, Training and Development environment, preferably in quality assurance, verification of learner’s achievement, assessment and moderation •Advanced computer literacy with MS Office packages and Management Information System (MIS) skills •A valid driver licence. Knowledge and skills: •Knowledge and experience of the Skills Development legislation, including SAQA framework, policies and regulations, Quality Assurance imperatives, National Qualifications Framework, learnership registrations and skills programmes packaging and recording •Knowledge of QCTO functions and processes •Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance •Ability to plan, organise and work on own initiative •Financial management and budgeting skills •Research skills, analytical thinking and networking abilities. PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATOR - MPUMALANGA (REF.: 28136/04) Salary: R468 024.03 (Total Cost To Company) JOB PURPOSE: To provide administrative support to both projects put in place in the province as well as administrative support in the running of the provincial office of ETDP SETA. The successful applicant will be based at the ETDP SETA office located in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga and will be reporting to the Provincial Manager. The successful incumbent must have the following minimum requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications and experiences: •A National diploma in Office Administration/Business Administration or Office Management and Technology or Communications •A Project Management qualification will be advantageous •3 years administration experience or experience in a similar role with at least 2 years experience in the ETD sector or Public Entities •Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel, e-mail and internet) •Strong communication skills (verbal and written) •Strong analytical and technical skills •Excellent planning abilities •Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast-moving environment •Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy •Ability to work in a team, with the willingness to put in extra effort and time when the team is under pressure •An ability to work with data and to do reconciliations.
