SENIOR COMMUNICATION OFFICER HEAD OFFICE, KING WILLIAM’S TOWN Salary Range: R316 791.00 – 373 167.00 per Annum (level 8) (Ref. ESL/2020/09/03) Head Office MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: National Senior Certificate, Three year National diploma in Multi or relevant NQF Level 6 qualification as recognized by SAQA with 2 years’ work experience in the communications and marketing environment. Compliance with transport management services, standards, policies and procedures. Planning and prioritization of transport needs. Assessing and booking of vehicles. Coordinate motor transport and ensure optimal utilisation of vehicles at all times. Exercise control over the maintenance of and expenditure involved in the use of motor and other transport. Ensure the proper completion and regular scrutiny of all records and returns concerning transport. An important element of this function is the Vehicle Asset Register of all vehicles under their control. Ensure that all vehicles are kept in good roadworthy condition and that they are serviced on regular basis. Ensure that all instructions relevant to the use, operation and maintenance of vehicles are complied with. Act as a link between their office and department, Government Motor Transport and commercial garages. Analysing reports on (at least) a monthly basis in order to identify, confirm and report any cases of possible fraud and misuse.
