COUNCIL ON HIGHER EDUCATION (CHE) The South African Council on Higher Education (CHE) is an independent statutory body established by the Higher Education Act (Act No. 101 of 1997, as amended). As the Quality Council for Higher Education in terms of the National Qualifications Framework Act (Act No 67 of 2008, as amended) it advises the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation on all higher education matters and is responsible for quality assurance and promotion through the Higher Education Quality Committee (HEQC). The CHE is offering opportunity to unemployed South African graduate from higher education institutions who has completed his/her studies, as indicated below and has not been exposed to work experience related to the field of study that he/she completed. INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME OFFICE OF THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (12 MONTHS CONTRACT) STIPEND: R15 000. 00 PER MONTH Reporting to the Organisational Secretary, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS A three-year Chartered Institute of Secretaries qualification or National Diploma in Commercial Law, Business Administration or any other three-year relevant qualification. Applicants should not have been previously served as interns and must be between 18-35 years old.
