CHRIS HANI DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY Chris Hani District Municipality is a Category 6 Municipality comprising of six local municipalities, Enoch Mgijima LM, Inxuba Yethemba LM, Ngcobo LM, Intsika Yethu LM, Emalahleni LM and Sakhisizwe LM situated in the Northern Eastern Part of the Eastern Cape Province. Minimum Requirements: • Matric • A relevant B. Degree or equivalent qualification at NQF level 7 • A least five (5) to seven (7) years relevant experience of which five (5) years to be at senior management level. • Valid Driver’s License • Attainment of required Minimum Competencies for Senior Managers in terms of Government Gazette No.29967 on Minimum Competencies will be an added advantage • Applications must be submitted on an APPROVED Chris Hani District Municipality Application Form (signed and dated) obtainable from www.chrishanidm.gov.za Competencies Required: • Critical competencies that drive the strategic intent and direction. • Core competencies that drive the execution of critical competencies Key Performance Areas (include but not limited to): • Provide strategic direction to the organisation in all aspects of strategic management • Manage overall development and co-ordination of an Integrated Strategic Planning Framework for the District Municipality • Manage and direct the development and review of the Performance Management Framework • Manages the development of the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan • Manage activities related to the performance of the governance and transversal functions of the institution. • Direct and manages the integrated communication, customer care, stakeholder management protocol and events.
