Duties: Responsible for the Strategic Planning of the Division; Responsible for Technical Management, Financial Management and Risk Management; Adhere to Legal and Statutory requirements; Responsible for management of Performance, Productivity and Personnel; Manage and oversee all processes with regards to Contract Management; Manage relationships, communication and administration within the Division. Requirements: Appropriate B degree, Professional Registration in terms of Act 46 of 2000, sec 18 (1)(a)(i): Professional Engineer or sec 18 (1)(a)(ii):Professional Engineer Technologist; Code B driver’s licence; Computer literate; Must be able to communicate in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape; Must have good interpersonal and managerial skills; Must be able to handle conflict situations; Must have good communication and interpretation skills; Must have good leadership and people skills.
